About Candidate

求职信

To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this letter of interest for your consideration. It is intended to express my interest in the recent job vacancy posted online by your organization and to provide you with a brief background summary. I am an experienced and certified English teacher with over 20 years of experience as an ESL teacher, supervisor and curriculum developer. I’ve worked with a variety of aptitude levels in various settings, including ESP, TOEFL, DynEd, IELTS and DLI. You’ll notice from my attached resume that I attended university in The Netherlands. It was a four-year program leading to a Bachelor of Education in English with teaching certification. All courses were conducted in English. I was required to satisfy a teaching practicum, culminating in over 30 hours of observed teaching. I decided to attend university in the Netherlands as they have some of the best language schools in the world. Studying there allowed me to observe how speakers of another language are taught English at the university level. The course emphasized English language acquisition methodology, which helped to give me various insights into the modern-methods of the English teaching profession, of which I would eventually become a member. My degree has been both translated and legalized; 53 countries having signed the apostille, including the US and the UK. To verify its authenticity to overseas sources, I also had my degree attested at the State Department in Washington D.C., clearing any questions for overseas assignments. Since graduating, I have taught in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. I am culturally sensitive, practiced, professional, highly organized and, given the opportunity, would make a positive contribution to your program. All educational documents, employment letters and references can be submitted upon request. Should you find that I meet your requirements, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Craig F
