I completed my bachelor degree in 2017 with Slavic Studies as major subject and Chinese Studies as minor subject. I expect to complete my master degree in Chinese Studies in the next few weeks. Due to the wide range of learning areas during my studies, I was able to prove my skills both as an employee of a Chinese company and on a freelance basis; for example, in the sales department of the company, I communicated with colleagues from Shanghai on various topics, which also expanded my Chinese language skills. On the other hand, I was able to put my theoretical-linguistic knowledge into practice as a tutor for languages.
Currently, I am still working on the completion of my master’s thesis, which deals with the mechanisms of Chinese public diplomacy. I currently live in Munich and would like to travel to China for a longer period of time and work there as lecturer.
In addition to the Chinese language skills and German as my mother tongue, I also speak English, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Slovak and have a strong sense for languages. Since I am familiar with the system in Chinese grammar, I would also be able to put myself in the mental language construct of Chinese students and use my linguistic-analytical skills on more complicated topics during lecturing.

My enthusiasm and interests have always been relating to the learning and speaking of languages. This is the reason why I have been looking for many opportunities in my spare time to use and improve my language skills, especially at various language exchange meetings. I am happy to pass on the acquired knowledge to others during tutoring lessons.
In order to create a good work- or study-life balance, particularly physical activities are the essential part of my spare time, especially tennis. The experience gained through numerous team matches and tournaments was able to be adapted to the profession of tennis coach for a long time, and, on the other hand, it promoted enormously my personal development in terms of teamwork and strategic decision-making ability.
In addition, I am interested into the international and diplomatic exchange dynamics of different countries. During my schooltime I was able to make my first experience within the framework of the international Comenius Program that also required a stay abroad. Currently, I am trying to deepen this interest in the preparation of my master’s thesis, combined with my knowledge of Chinese, by examining certain mechanisms of Chinese public diplomacy abroad (with Switzerland as a case study) as concrete topic.
