Chongqing University is one of the Double-First Class Universities in China (Class A, 36 in total). It is highly ranked in Architecture, Engineering, Technology, and Business disciplines. CQU has four campuses with yearly approximate enrollment of 5,000 master and doctoral students, and 6,300 undergraduate students.

Position: EFL LECTURER
Institution: Chongqing University, School of Foreign Languages and Cultures
Start: Fall – Academic Year 2022-2023
Hours: 16 hours per week on average;
Duties: Teaching English courses for undergraduate or postgraduate students, including General English, Academic English, English Literature, Critical Reading and writing，Cross-cultural courses and etc.
Bonus: Bonus for extra contribution and high quality academic or teaching research
publication will be provided;
Salary: 157,000 or 197,000 RMB annual income depending on teaching experience and degree plus extra-hour payment;
Vacation: At least 60-day paid vacation, plus public holiday;
Medical: Medical insurance will be provided by the University;
Language: Chinese language training provided upon request at no cost;
Orientation: Orientation to Chongqing and University provided.
Desired Qualifications:
- MA or higher in TESOL or Education or English; or
- MS in Sciences + 1 year of full-time EFL/ESL teaching experience at the university level and/or with adult learners in classroom settings; or
- PhD with experience in GE, EAP, ESP, English for Disciplinary Studies (EDS).
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA in TESOL or related fields, Education, and/or Communication + 2 years of full-time ELT experience at the university level and/or with adult learners in classroom settings; or
- BS in Sciences + CELTA/DELTA or equivalent certificate preferred + 2 years of full-time ELT experience at the university level and/or with adult learners in classroom settings.
Applicants should have experience in materials development, well-rounded knowledge in assessment, and flexibility in working in culturally/socially different settings.

职责：为本科生或研究生教授英语课程，包括普通英语、学术英语、英语文学、批判性阅读和写作、跨文化课程等。

薪资：根据教学经验和学位，年收入15.7万或19.7万人民币，另加课时费。

TESOL或教育或英语专业的硕士或以上学历；或
科学硕士+1年全职EFL/ESL教学经验，在大学和/或成人学习者的课堂环境中；或
具有GE、EAP、ESP、学科英语（EDS）方面经验的博士。
最低资历。
TESOL或相关领域、教育和/或通信专业的学士学位+2年全职英语教学经验，在大学和/或成人学习者的课堂环境中；或理科学士 + CELTA/DELTA或同等证书优先 + 2年全职大学水平的英语教学经验和/或与成人学习者的课堂教学经验。申请人应具有材料开发的经验，全面的评估知识，以及在不同文化/社会环境中工作的灵活性。
