The School of Bioengineering and Food Science of Hubei University of Technology was established in 1978. For more than 40 years, the college has always adhered to the “student-centered” educational philosophy and output-oriented, continuously optimized the talent training mechanism, and delivered high-quality talents for national and local economic development and social construction.

The School of Bioengineering and Foodstuffs is the first approved school for doctoral programs in Hubei University of Technology. It has three national “double first-class” undergraduate major construction sites: Bioengineering, Food Science and Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Engineering. Emerging strategic majors, there are biotechnology top-notch talent training base classes (undergraduate, master and doctoral programs), and the undergraduate study rate ranks first in the school. There is 1 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization point, 4 first-level discipline master’s degree authorization points, and 1 professional degree master’s degree authorization point. There are 33 provincial and ministerial levels, including the National Cell Regulation and Molecular Medicine Discipline Innovation and Intelligence Base (“111 Plan”), the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Fermentation Engineering, the Industrial Fermentation Collaborative Innovation Center jointly built by the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Industry, and the Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Industrial Microbiology. The scientific research platform has a teaching and scientific research building of 18,000 square meters, and the total value of instruments and equipment is nearly 100 million yuan.

1. Job Description

Primary duties involve teaching courses related to the following 3 programs:

Food Science and Engineering

Pharmacy

Biology and Medicine

2. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

PHD degree OR excellent candidates with a Master’s degree related our 2 programs.

Teaching experience.

Candidates with teaching experience are preferred (with reference letters)

Language ability

Excellent English

Native English speakers are preferred
